Structure of Teaching Materials - MeiZhou Chinese: The content of the first volume is compiled based on students’ cognitive level and life experience. The whole book has eight units, extending the course content of the basic class, including 27 texts and 8 comic stories, using stories to introduce the study of texts. The 27 texts are all composed into children's songs, which are easy to memorize and sing. Use cartoons as a supplement to train students to tell stories. There are a total of 110 new words and 199 new phrases, starting with pictographic characters. Teaching goals: a lot of listening, speaking, singing, and reciting.

教材結構 - 美洲華語：本冊內容乃根據學生的認知層面和生活體驗而編寫的。全冊八單元，延伸基礎班的課程內容，包括27篇課文和8篇連環畫故事，以故事導入課文的學習。27篇課文均譜成兒歌，容易背唱。採用動畫片為輔助，訓練學生開口說故事。生字共110字，199個生詞，以象形字入手。教學目標: 大量的聽、說、唱和背誦。

Students are required to wear uniforms during classes, which can be purchased at the beginning of the school year. Navy Blue Khaki trousers and white sneakers may be purchased at stores such as Kohl’s, Target or Walmart.
